Head of Growth and Development at The Book Club, Brittany is passionate about creating meaningful experiences for families and helping build a community where kids and parents feel connected, welcomed, and excited to return each week. She leads member experience and growth initiatives while also helping spearhead philanthropic and community outreach efforts that extend The Book Club's impact beyond the studio.
Fun Fact: Brittany firmly believes Disney adults are simply people who understand joy.

PROGRAMMING AND MEMBER EXPERIENCE MANAGER

A 13-year English teacher who has taught everything from upper elementary through high school. She blends strong literacy instruction with a fun, upbeat approach that kids love. Liz also plans and hosts all our Moms' Book Club Events.

Special Education educator for thirteen years, supporting learners from K through 8. She brings expertise in assistive technology, inclusion, and dyslexia, and is known for making every child feel capable, supported, and celebrated.

Early Childhood Lead
Mom of 3
She leads our preschool and toddler classes with intention, care, and a strong understanding of how young children learn through play, movement, and repetition. Her calm, encouraging approach helps children build early literacy skills while developing confidence, curiosity, and a love of books.

TEACHER & MARKETING COORDINATOR
Ms. Sara connects with kids of every age, from our littlest readers to our tweens. She has a special passion for Her Next Chapter, our tween girls' club, where she helps build a community where girls find their voice, their people, and their next favorite book. Outside the classroom, she loves getting out into the community to share The Book Club with more kids and families.

SPECIAL EVENTS HOST
Mr. Josh brings the energy to every Book Club event. Many West Hartford kids already know him from summer camp, where he became the counselor everyone hoped to get. Now he brings that same spark to our special events, turning stories into games, big laughs, and memories kids talk about all year.

Our team is made up of experienced educators, creatives, literacy specialists, and kid‐enthusiasts who believe that children learn best through curiosity, connection, and joyful exploration.
We’re more than instructors- we’re reading role models, science guides, art mentors, music makers, and partners in your child’s learning journey. Each team member brings a unique background and a shared commitment to helping kiddos grow confident, capable, and excited to learn.
