I’m Heather Moran, an experienced educator with over 15 years as a teacher, curriculum writer, and academic dean. Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about helping students grow their love of reading while developing the skills they need to succeed. That passion inspired me to create The Book Club—a program designed to help kids strengthen their vocabulary, communication, and reading comprehension skills while falling in love with books.

Limited Time IN SCHOOL FOR High-Interest Books & Discussion: Current school schedules AND CURRICULUM leave little time for fostering critical discussion skills AND A TRUE LOVE OF READING.

Busy Family Schedules limit time for reading: As a mom of three, I know how hard it can be for parents to carve out time to focus on reading at home amidst the demands of daily life.

Reading Is Better with Friends: I’ve seen how kids develop a stronger love of reading when they experience stories together, sharing ideas and excitement with their peers.

The Book Club is not just another library story hour or classroom experience—it’s a completely unique approach. Through fun, engaging classes in small groups, I create a space where children can explore the magic of books, develop essential skills, and connect with others—all while building a foundation to become lifelong readers and thinkers.
